I love the fact that the case has a hinge that can be flipped up for the bottom of the phone to be exposed - this is wonderful for people who like to dock their iPhone (like me). This case is great, I use it every day.
One thing that I didn't like with other "slide on" cases is that they would begin to lift the screen protector over time, this case doesn't even touch the screen so that is not and issue.I also really like that the bottom is attached to the case (unlike the In-Case slider) it just lifts up to take the case on/off, but then snaps to the phone so it is securly fastened. The vibrate on/off switch and volume buttons are very easily accessible with the case on, and I have had no issues with connecting auxiliry cables.I would have easily paid $35 for this case, so the fact that it only costs $6 is amazing. I have gone through about 6 different cases for all three iphone models I have owned and this is far and away the BEST case I've ever used. The glossy style makes its seem like there is no case at all on the phone.
I am okay with it. I am not terribly thrilled by the product. It is already scratched. But I think, it is protecting my phone so.
Only wish that it came with a screen protector especially since most cases in this price range come with one. This case just flicks open and goes right in. Other than that the case feels solid while only adding a minimal amount of bulk. The back of the case had scratches all over it from only one week of use.
This is the best case available for iPhone 3G and 3GS in my opinion if you dock your phone. The flicking mechanism is what sells this case and its the only one I have found that offers it. It does have an extremely small lip around the front which is kind of pointy and semi-irritating when you hold it up to your ear for a phone call, but that is easy to get used to. I have tried the others with the slide off dock caps and they are annoying.
In order to see the scratches you have to shine light on it so it isn't that bad, but it still could have been more scratch resistant. I bought two, one for backup just in case, and I use it with a Power Support screen shield. You have to remove the cap and then place it somewhere while you dock your phone it's annoying and it looks messy. Also the rubber that connects the flicking mechanism seems really strong so it shouldn't break off after multiple "flicks".The one thing that I don't like about this case is how easily the back scratches which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.
It is super thin, and very durable. This most recent purchase was me buying this case again for myself. I am a technology reviewer, and have reviewed and tried many different cases. I have dropped my iPhone in this case so much, and not a single scratch on the iPhone. If you are debating where to buy it, do it, it is an amazing product for the price.-Chris Lentz[.]. The Flick case is amazing. I have purchased this case for everyone in my family.
